Pork Chop with Creamy Mushrooms

I used to make this all the time at university. It’s not the healthiest of dinners but it is incredibly tasty!

2 x Pork chops

150g Mushrooms

150ml double cream

1 Onion, finely sliced

150g Mozzarella, sliced

Serve with: some roasted new potatoes

Drizzle the pork chops with some olive oil and season with salt and pepper and pop in the oven at 180 degrees celsius for 30-40 minutes.

When the pork chops are almost done in a frying pan, gently fry the onion and mushrooms until nice and soft. Add the cream and let this bubble and thicken slightly.

Remove the pork chops from the oven and top with the creamy mushrooms. Lay on a couple of slices of mozzarella and put back in the oven for about 5 minutes until the mozzarella has melted.

Serve with some lovely roasted new potatoes!

Love, A x
