Steak & Mushroom Pasta

Ok ok, this one is a bit of a bougie one but we all need treats and this recipe is a perfect weekend dinner! It’s also pretty easy and quick to make and totally delicious!


2 steaks

200g chestnut mushrooms, sliced

1 tbsp cream

200g tagliatelle

Handful of parsley, sliced 



Bring a pan of water to the boil and then cook the pasta to packet instructions.

Fry the mushrooms in a little olive oil, some salt and pepper and a little of the parsley. 

Meanwhile, season the steaks and fry on a hot griddle for 2-3 minutes each side (depending on how you like them and how thick they are). Keep in foil until needed. 

Drain the pasta (keeping 1 cup of pasta water). Mix the tagliatelle with the mushrooms, pasta water and cream. 


Slice the steaks and serve on top of the pasta with some chopped parsley.
